Drifter

Registered Name: Hancock’s Driften Jet
DOB: June 12, 2004
Breed: American Quarter Horse
Color: Bay Roan
Height: 15.3 Hands
Drifter was purchased as a yearling, soon after he had a surgery to cut a ligament in his stifle in order to allow him to move freely. We started him under saddle, and have brought him along slowly in his training, allowing him to develop into a well rounded versatile dependable gelding. This horse has one of the easiest going personalities, coming from the Driftwood and Hancock Quarter Horse bloodlines. Drifter is kind, patient, willing and quite athletic. He can go English, Western, rope cattle, work cattle, and has won his bronze medal in ACTHA competitive events. He’s a clown, silly with his faces, and has a comical personality. Drifter has taken many of our students on lots of adventures, in the mountains, over the rivers and to horse shows over the years. Frequently you can hear Dale saying, “I trust Drifter with my life”.
